Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a proactive Site Manager to lead our Power Conversion projects in the UK and Ireland. You will be the on-site heartbeat, coordinating field teams, managing budgets, and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery of electrification systems.

Ideal candidates bring strong construction management experience in electrical environments, familiarity with CDM 2015, and a proven ability to mentor teams while maintaining rigorous safety standards on fast-paced sites.

Qualifications

• Substantive experience as Site/Construction Manager in electrical engineering environments.
• Working knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
• Experience installing/commissioning electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, rotating machines).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PM software.
• Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel frequently to UK & Ireland project sites.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering is beneficial but hands-on experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning by coordinating site scheduling and cost estimation during tender.
• Drive execution by mobilizing site teams and monitoring progress.
• Champion safety and quality across projects and ensure contractor compliance.
• Collaborate between design offices and site teams with timely progress reporting.
• Manage field operations including site budgets and staffing to deliver safely and on time.
