Job summary

DL M&E Building Services Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Estimator to join our Bolton team. You will prepare accurate electrical estimates and tenders for design and build commercial projects, working with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and project delivery teams.

The role requires reviewing drawings and specifications, analysing quotes, and identifying value engineering opportunities while managing multiple tenders to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Estimator in building services projects.
• Ability to price design and build commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and standards.
• Proficiency with estimating software and cost planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and employer's requirements.
• Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Negotiate supplier and subcontractor prices.
• Attend site surveys, pre-tender meetings and client meetings.
• Identify value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain estimating records and tender documentation.
• Produce cost plans and quotations using estimating software.
