Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to become an Electrical Engineering Trainer in Workington. The role provides full training and focuses on coaching and assessing apprentices while delivering Level 3 programmes.

You will work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, with a salary of £38,000–£42,000 and benefits including the Government Pension Scheme, 39 days holiday and an excellent work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Strong industry background in electrical engineering is advantageous.

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to move into a rewarding role where you can support and develop the next generation of engineering apprentices?

Working as part of an established engineering team, you will deliver coaching sessions, carry out assessments, and conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers, ensuring apprentices develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to successfully complete their programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering and a strong industrial background within the sector. Previous teaching or assessing experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as support and training can be provided for the right individual.
