Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment in Workington is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to move into a rewarding training and apprenticeship assessment role. You will deliver and assess Electrical Engineering programmes up to Level 3, support learners and employers, and help apprentices progress through their qualifications.

The role is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, with a salary of 38,000–42,000 plus a Government Pension Scheme, 39 days holiday and an excellent work–life balance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Industrial experience within electrical engineering.
• Teaching or assessing experience would be advantageous but is not essential; training can be provided.

Working as part of an established engineering team, you will deliver coaching sessions, carry out assessments, and conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers, ensuring apprentices develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to successfully complete their programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering and a strong industrial background within the sector. Previous teaching or assessing experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as support and training can be provided for the right individual.
