Job summary

Babcock International Group in Bristol is offering an Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Summer Internship. You will join the Submarine Support Engineering team, contributing to in-service submarine support and defence projects while applying your academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.

Over 12 weeks you will work with multidisciplinary teams, gain exposure to safety-critical systems, and develop practical skills that prepare you for a graduate career.

Qualifications

• You must be studying towards a degree in one of the listed disciplines (accredited preferred).
• Security clearance restrictions may apply (BPSS and SC).
• UK national requirement for some programmes may apply.

Responsibilities

• Based with SSE team, supporting submarine maintenance and defence projects.
• Contribute to a range of engineering challenges from defence to nuclear projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions for the UK submarine fleet.
