Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be studying towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Instrumentation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Aerospace, Avionics, or Software.
• Degree preferred to be accredited by the relevant institution.

Responsibilities

• Be based in the SSE team, maintaining in-service submarines and supporting MoD engineering needs.
• Work through a 12‑week programme to tackle defence and complex nuclear projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering scenarios and contribute to meaningful projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions for the UK submarine fleet.
