What you’ll be doing
You’ll be based within the Submarine Support Engineering (SSE) team, which focuses on maintaining in-service submarines and provides technical engineering support to the Ministry of Defence. Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll gain exposure to a range of engineering challenges, from defence engineering to complex nuclear projects.
You’ll apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios, contributing to meaningful projects and working alongside experienced professionals.
Expect to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support the delivery of engineering solutions that help ensure the safety and effectiveness of the UK’s submarine fleet.
