Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager in Monmouthshire to lead a five‑strong electrical engineering team and drive technical leadership on projects in the water treatment equipment sector.

You will allocate work, mentor engineers, and improve workflow efficiency while taking the lead on design and control philosophy, P&ID development, and component sizing for multiple projects with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in running electrical projects.
• Experience leading or managing teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Electrical engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering team and project work.
• Take the lead technically on ongoing projects and liaise with suppliers.
• Write the control philosophy from the initial P&ID and size electrical components.
• Create I/O lists and instrument/equipment specifications.
• Write FAT procedures and witness tests with panel manufacturers.
• Travel occasionally to panel manufacturers and oversee project delivery on site.
