Zusammenfassung

Bridges in Wales is seeking an experienced Regional Design Manager to lead electrical design leadership across water and wastewater projects within the Wales Region. You will coordinate Civil, MEICA, Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation design activities, ensure compliant, high-quality solutions, and collaborate with PDT, commercial, delivery, procurement and PMO to drive on-time delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience delivering Civil and MEICA projects within water and wastewater, or similar, regulated infrastructure environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of design assurance, risk management, and change control processes.
• Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.

Aufgaben

• Lead the engineering design function for allocated projects and frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation design activities.
• Coordinate an integrated approach between design teams and PDT, commercial, delivery, procurement, PMO, etc.
• Manage engineering budgets, forecasts, and design costs; support change and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with design procedures, governance, and CDM principles.
• Promote innovation, standardisation, and digital engineering to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with operations, construction and commissioning teams for safe, buildable designs.
• Arrange site investigations and data collection to inform designs.
