Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead major electrical upgrades at a Water Treatment Works in the UK. The role covers end-to-end management of MCCs, power distribution, switchgear, cabling, dosing systems, and instrumentation, from scope through installation, commissioning and handover.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background, water industry experience, and a track record delivering capital schemes on AMP frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering electrical packages on water treatment sites.
• Experience with MV/LV power distribution, switchgear and instrumentation integration.

Responsibilities

• Drive electrical workstreams to time and budget, ensuring alignment with client specs and WIMES standards.
• Manage package budgets, track variations, and oversee subcontractor payments.
• Act as the primary technical contact for client representatives and MEICA subcontractors.
• Review RAMS, manage isolation procedures and QA checks.
• Establish and monitor detailed project schedules to avoid disruption to live water processing operations.
