Job summary

Babcock International invites graduates to join its Electrical Engineering Graduate Programme at HM Naval Base Clyde, Scotland. Over two years, you rotate through placements to broaden experience, while building foundational electrical and control engineering skills and taking on increasing responsibilities.

The programme supports Chartered status with mentoring, masterclasses, and guidance toward professional registration, with a permanent role after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Security clearance: BPSS and Security Check (SC) required before/during employment.
• Eligibility: UK national or eligible for UK nationality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Join the Electrical Engineering Graduate Programme and contribute to impactful UK projects.
• Support work across engineering lifecycle—from concept to production, commissioning, in-service support and decommissioning.
• Assist on projects like submarines, military vehicles, ships, and nuclear power plant upgrades; contribute to safer, efficient rail networks.
• Apply engineering knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions and collaborate with experienced professionals.
