Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure is launching a Graduate - Engineering (Electric) scheme designed to develop engineers through a three-year rotation across construction, electricity, water, fibre, or heat networks. The program supports working toward IEng and CEng status while gaining broad-based experience in the utilities sector.

As part of the scheme you will visit BUUK offices nationwide, undertake projects, and contribute to day-to-day business activities.

Qualifications

• Team player with collaborative mindset and problem-solving approach.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
• Awareness of Health and Safety procedures and best practices.
• Experience or familiarity with the utilities industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Undertake tasks and projects to gain practical experience within the utilities industry.
• Rotate through departments to gain a rounded understanding of BUUK's operations.
• Maintain a record of experience and learning while working toward professional status.
• Visit and work within BUUK offices across the UK and undertake site visits as required.
• Develop understanding of wider business functions and how they operate together.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
