Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure invites graduates to join its three-year engineering scheme across construction, electricity, water, fibre or heat networks, working toward IEng and CEng status. The scheme offers broad exposure and hands-on experience within BUUK while supporting professional development.

The role involves rotating through departments, visiting BUUK offices, and delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders while building practical engineering expertise across the UK.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in Engineering with a minimum 2:1 grade.
• Team player with ability to work across disciplines.
• Willing to obtain DBS clearance and hold a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake tasks and projects to gain practical experience in the utilities sector.
• Rotate through departments to gain a rounded engineering experience.
• Maintain a learning record while progressing toward professional status.
• Visit BUUK offices across the UK and undertake site visits when required.
• Develop understanding of wider business functions and how they integrate.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Carry out other duties as required by the manager.
