Job summary

Stantec in Cardiff is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Water team on nationally significant infrastructure projects. You will support electrical and EICA design across water and wastewater assets, collaborating with senior engineers and project teams to deliver safe, efficient solutions.

You will gain exposure through feasibility, design, and construction stages, develop your technical skills with mentoring, and contribute to sustainable communities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Some experience in electrical engineering design.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles and design processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Experience in water, utilities, energy or infrastructure sectors.

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our growing Water team in Cardiff. ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the delivery of electrical and EICA design services across a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Working alongside senior engineers and project teams, you will contribute to the development of safe, efficient and innovative engineering solutions.

Your role will involve supporting electrical design activities throughout the project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, optioneering, detailed design and construction support. You will assist with the preparation of technical documentation, drawings and specifications, while collaborating with engineers from different disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

You will have the opportunity to build your technical capability, learn from experienced industry professionals and contribute to projects that have a meaningful impact on communities.
