Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Water team in Cardiff, offering the chance to work on nationally significant water and wastewater projects. The role covers feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction support, with mentorship and development opportunities.

You will contribute to safe, efficient, innovative engineering solutions while collaborating with senior engineers and disciplines across the project lifecycle, in a hybrid working environment in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Some experience in electrical engineering design or related environment.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles and design processes.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Good organisational skills with ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical and EICA design solutions across water and wastewater projects.
• Gain exposure to the full project lifecycle from feasibility through construction support.
• Develop technical skills through hands-on project experience and mentoring.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams delivering sustainable solutions for communities and the environment.
