Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a multi-discipline design team focused on complex, fast-paced projects for the global semiconductor manufacturing sector. You will contribute to the planning and design of advanced fabs, cleanrooms, and high-purity utility systems, collaborating with process, electrical, mechanical, and BIM specialists.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in building electrical design, a strong IPC/IEC code background, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

Hons Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience designing building electrical systems.
Experience applying IEC and local building/specialty codes.
Excellent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Organize, assign, and delegate engineering tasks to produce construction documents with a team of engineers and designers.
Manage scope, budget and schedule to meet project goals.
Coordinate with other disciplines to develop integrated designs.
Lead electrical design quality, accuracy, and completeness of documents.
Analyze and design complex building electrical systems: medium/low voltage, lighting, grounding, and process heating.
Oversee standby generator and UPS systems for critical power needs.
Perform field observation of construction activities and review submittals.
