Job summary

Jacobs is expanding its team to deliver world-class semiconductor facility designs with a highly integrated engineering team. The role focuses on delivering accurate construction documents, coordinating across disciplines, and maintaining schedule and budget in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a minimum of five years in structural design, and be working towards chartership, with exposure to Eurocode and international codes.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (FETAC Level 8 minimum).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Structural Engineering Design.
• Chartered Structural Engineer or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Organize, assign, and delegate necessary engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers.
• Manage scope, budget and schedule to meet project goals.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, architectural, process) to develop designs.
• Independently lead plant design activities as an area/system leader with multi‑discipline designers.
• Review construction submittals for conformance with contract and design documents.
