We are actively looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our United Kingdom or Spain offices. As part of the Electrical Group, the Electrical Engineer prepares multiple or complex plans, designs and plan production for general electrical engineering on a wide variety of projects which may include lighting, power, and grounding plans, one-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, and different project specifications.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Completes multiple or complex electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammates
  • Provides multiple or complex design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for the following but not limited to:
    • Medium/low voltage power distribution systems
    • Lighting systems
    • Lightning protection systems
    • Grounding systems
    • Communications systems
    • Control Systems
    • Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear)
    • Electrical calculations, selective coordination and arc flash studies
  • Prepares detailed large contract documents, studies andcost estimates
  • Submittal reviews and construction observations for electrical work on projects
  • Assist in companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes

  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Working conditions:

Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
