Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment works.
• Support pumping stations, reservoirs, flood resilience assets and water transmission schemes.
• Produce power distribution, motor control, cable, lighting and earthing designs and deliver instrumentation, control and automation solutions.
• Work with ICA specialists to ensure treatment processes and pumping systems can be operated, monitored and controlled safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, civil, structural and BIM teams.
• Support projects from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design, installation and commissioning.
• Assist with the design of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment works.
• Support power distribution, MCCs, cable systems, earthing and lighting designs.
• Carry out electrical calculations and equipment selection under guidance of senior engineers; produce technical reports and schedules.
• Develop and review electrical drawings and design documentation.
• Contribute to design packages from concept through to detailed design.
