Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the Greater Morecambe area. This hands‑on role covers PLC‑controlled equipment, DC drives, motors, and instrumentation, with both breakdown response and planned maintenance to ensure continuous production.

You will work on large industrial machinery, support modifications, and be part of a team delivering reliability improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical maintenance background and PLC fault finding experience.

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An established heavy industrial manufacturer in the Greater Morecambe area is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its experienced engineering team. This is a hands‑on position working across large‑scale production equipment and associated plant, with responsibility for diagnosing electrical faults, responding to breakdowns and completing planned maintenance to support reliable production.

You'll work across a broad range of electrical systems, including PLC‑controlled equipment, DC drives, motors, control panels and instrumentation. Alongside day‑to‑day maintenance, you'll support electrical modifications and improvement work across the site, making this a varied opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical fault finding and working with complex industrial machinery.
