Job summary

Peel Ports is seeking an Electrician to join the Clydeport Engineering Department at Greenock Ocean Terminal to perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment.

You will work toward authorised person for HV and LV, use fault finding equipment, and ensure safety standards while keeping downtime to a minimum. Occasional travel to other sites within the cluster may be required.

Qualifications

• You'll be a time served electrician, with experience of maintaining heavy plant and machinery.
• Experience using fault finding diagnostic equipment.
• Willing to work at heights, understand work systems and accident reporting with a commitment to maintaining Health and Safety standards.
• Previous High Voltage and Three Phase experience is desirable

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on heavy plant and machinery.
• Work towards appointed authorised person for HV and LV systems.
• Utilise fault finding diagnostic equipment and minimise downtime.
• Travel to other sites within the cluster as required
