Peel Ports Group is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead a multi-skilled maintenance team at the Port of Liverpool. You will oversee safe operation, maintenance, and commissioning of equipment, coordinating with contractors and internal teams to uphold PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, LOLER and DSEAR compliant standards.

The role requires experience in heavy industry, strong communication skills, and a driving licence, with responsibility for safety and continuous improvement across maintenance

Competenze

• Experience leading multi-functional and multi-skilled teams of engineers in heavy industry.
• Knowledge of DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH and risk assessments.
• Experience producing Root Cause Analysis and problem solving documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Strong continuous improvement experience.
• HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Understanding of Mechanical Engineering.
• Full valid driving licence; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Mansioni

• Oversee a multi-skilled maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the business unit.
• Maintain plant and equipment within Peel Ports Mersey operational areas.
• Deliver maintenance, statutory compliance, installation and commissioning of new equipment with contractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with other engineering and operational functions and ensure compliance with company policies and legislation (PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, LOLER, DSEAR).
