Job summary

Gold Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a large, well-known Facilities Management organisation in Manchester. The role covers maintenance, repairs, fault finding and inspection of building electrical services and equipment, requiring dedication and pride in work.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Levels 2 & 3 Electrical Installation, AM2/JIB Gold Card, and be comfortable using CAFM systems and producing technical reports.

Qualifications

• NVQ Levels 2 & 3 Electrical Installation is required.
• AM2 or JIB/ECS Gold Card is required.
• Qualified to 3S7671 18th Edition Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Test preferred.
• PAT testing experience is advantageous.
• Asbestos awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and inspections as per PPM planners and SLAs.
• Use CAFM systems to perform reactive and PPM tasks in line with SLA/KPIs.
• Keep site logbooks up to date with relevant information and certification.
• Identify maintenance needs and produce technical reports on equipment.
• Respond to service desk calls and provide task information to ensure timely resolution.
• Read and follow RAMS; assist with RAMS for larger works and risk assessments.
• Supervise subcontractors on site and ensure RAMS and safety procedures are followed.
• Complete company forms and documentation accurately and on time.
• Assist team members with multi-person tasks as needed.
