Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management contractor in the UK. The role covers delivery of planned and reactive FM maintenance, with responsibilities including safety checks, inspections, and repairs across client sites.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 electrical installation qualifications, inspection/test certification, and is comfortable with night shifts.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• Qualified in electrical inspection and testing.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• IT literate with strong customer service skills; experience in facilities or mobile maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical safety checks, installation inspections, and reactive repairs.
• Deliver planned maintenance across client sites.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and statutory building regulations.
• Maintain accurate records using IT systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes through inspections and monitoring.
