Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a diverse role within a major facilities management contractor in the UK. You will deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across building services, ensuring compliance and safe operation.

The successful candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, and a full UK driving licence, with experience in commercial/industrial maintenance and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations experience.
• Experience in commercial/industrial maintenance environments.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of building services systems.
• Complete inspections, testing and certification, including EICRs, in line with BS 7671 and site compliance requirements.
• Support electrical projects and system upgrades, providing technical expertise and assisting with safe implementation.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work documentation to ensure work is completed safely.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality and asset performance.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for:

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of building services systems.
