Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join our Northumberland-based site delivery team. You will oversee electrical installations, ensuring safety, scheduling, and high-quality workmanship across the project.

We welcome UK-wide applicants and provide fully covered accommodation, mileage expenses, and a weekly net allowance to support mobility. A degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of site experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in electrical construction environments.
• Ability to read and critique construction drawings and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily electrical site operations and coordination with subcontractors.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to meet project goals.
• Drive QA/QC and manage inspections, testing, and snagging.
• Track progress and report to senior management.
• Liaise with design teams to resolve RFIs and coordinate changes.
• Maintain project documentation and safety folders.
• Support commercial team with variation tracking.
• Represent the electrical team in meetings and safety briefings.
