Job summary

Thrive SW is seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join a brand new static site in Bristol’s Filton area. You will work in a team of eight on a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights, ensuring 24-hour cover and reliable electrical services.

Duties include planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems, UPS, generators and BMS controls, with additional experience in HVAC/PPMS beneficial. NVQ Level 3 and AM2 are required, while 2391 testing is desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 and AM2.
• Experience in facilities/engineering maintenance on large static sites.
• 4 on 4 off shift experience is advantageous.
• Experience with UPS, generators and BMS controls.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical services.
• Ensure statutory compliance testing and routine inspections.
• Maintain critical systems including UPS, generators and BMS controls.
• Collaborate with a team to cover day and night shifts on site.

Job description

Electrical Shift Engineer Static Site in Filton 4 on 4 off Days and Nights £48-53k 25 days holiday

Are you a fully qualified Electrician working in the facilities / engineering maintenance sector and open to a working at a brand new state of the art site in the Filton area of Bristol.

As Maintenance Electrician you will work as part of a team of 4 electrician and 4 mechanical engineers on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering both day and nights shift to ensure 24hour coverage to this brand new site in Bristol.

Duties will be planned and reactive maintenance to all Electrical services on site from general ppm and statutory compliance testing, as well as maintaining the sites critical systems, UPS, Generators and BMS controls.

An understanding of the Mechanical side of the site would also be advantageous for PPMS to HVAC and Associated Plant within the building,

You will need to be a fully qualified electrician with NVQ level 3 and AM2, 2391 testing and inspection is desirable but not essential.

Previous experience of a large static site with critical systems would be advantageous although not essential.
