Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a maintenance-focused role in Nottingham. The successful candidate will perform planned maintenance, fault-finding, and support installation and commissioning of electrical equipment on a fast-paced site.

Key requirements include an Electrical Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification and 18th Edition, with strong diagnostic skills and experience with preventative maintenance systems.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in electrical work.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills for electrical systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance documentation and ensuring work is accurately recorded.
• Ensuring all engineering activities comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects across the site.

The Role

Electrical Engineer -

• Completing maintenance documentation and ensuring work is accurately recorded.
• Ensuring all engineering activities comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across a range of plant and equipment.
• Supporting installation, modification and commissioning of new electrical equipment
• Building Inspections & Emergency lighting

About You

A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or Level 3 Electrical qualification.

• 18th Edition
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with preventative maintenance systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with maintenance experience who enjoys fault finding and working within a fast-paced environment.
