Job summary

Doncasters in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Technician to join a small team supporting the smooth operation of the factory. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and conduct preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.

The role requires reading manuals and work orders, and applying good problem-solving skills to source parts and obtain technical support as needed. NVQ Level 2 electrical qualification is required, with NVQ Level 3 preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical maintenance experience within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment.
• Fault finding on electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience working on 3-phase electrical equipment.
• 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 electrical qualification is required; Level 3 is preferred.

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic skilled Electrical Technician to work as part of a small team to support the smooth running of the factory and its operations.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

• Perform mechanical skills to diagnose faults and repairs and adjust where necessary.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service plans.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Use initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials, and seeking manufacturer technical support.
