Job summary

Pioneer Selection is helping a heavy industrial manufacturing business in the Greater Morecambe area recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will maintain production machinery and plant, carrying out electrical fault-finding, maintenance and installations on a varied, hands-on site.

This role offers a continental 12-hour shift pattern, salary up to £45,000, 25 days annual leave, and opportunities for ongoing training and long-term progression within a stable team.

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established heavy industrial manufacturing business in the Greater Morecambe area. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of production machinery and ancillary plant through planned and reactive maintenance, helping to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime. This is a varied, hands‑on role where you'll carry out electrical fault finding, maintenance and installations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across a busy manufacturing environment. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while maintaining high engineering standards.
