Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking an on-site Electrician based at Silverburn Shopping Centre in Glasgow to perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive electrical works across the site.

You will inspect lighting and distribution boards, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety compliance and reliability as part of a 40-hour week. A City & Guilds / SVQ II/III in Electrical Installations is required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / SVQ II/III in Electrical Installations required.
• Experience in facilities management or commercial maintenance preferred.
• Strong background in PPM and reactive electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned preventive maintenance, including monthly lighting and plant checks.
• Carry out reactive electrical works, including repairs to lighting and distribution boards.
• Complete routine PPM visits and reactive repairs to electrical assets on-site.
• Supervise and support subcontractors completing PPM and reactive works.

We are currently looking for an Electrician based on site in Silverburn Shopping Centre.

• Undertake planned preventative maintenance, including monthly lighting and plant checks, and general building maintenance.
• Carry out reactive electrical works, including repairs to internal and external lighting and distribution boards.
• Complete routine PPM visits and reactive repairs to electrical assets across the site.
• Supervise and support subcontractors completing PPM and reactive works onsite.
• Proven experience within facilities management or building services.
• Strong background in PPM and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team on a large, high-profile site.
