Varied healthcare property portfolio
You'll carry out electrical planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial healthcare sites throughout Derby and the surrounding East Midlands area.
Your workload will be approximately evenly split between:
50% Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
50% Reactive Maintenance
Typical duties will include:
Electrical fault finding and repairs
Planned electrical maintenance
Reactive electrical maintenance
Emergency lighting testing
Fire alarm testing
Lighting and power repairs
Distribution board inspections
Small electrical installations
Inspection and testing
Electrical remedial works
Compliance checks
Completing maintenance documentation
Supporting general building maintenance where required
We're looking for a qualified electrician with a good electrical background who is comfortable working independently across multiple customer sites.
Previous experience within Facilities Management or commercial building maintenance would be advantageous.
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Inspection & Testing qualification desirable
Previous electrical maintenance experience
Good electrical fault-finding skills
Facilities Management or commercial maintenance experience advantageous
Full UK Driving Licence
Comfortable working in a mobile position across Derby and the East Midlands
