Job summary

Invictus Group on Oxford Street is seeking an Electrical Engineer to act as Sole Site Engineer, running day-to-day site maintenance and delivering reliable electrical and building services support.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8-5, with overtime and occasional shutdowns. You will supervise contractors, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, ensure health and safety standards, and report issues to the client and site management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in building services.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all PPM and reactive maintenance on site.

Electrical Engineer (Sole Site Engineer) - £50,000 - Oxford Street

I am currently looking to speak to Electrical Engineers for a Sole Site Engineer role based near Oxford Street.

The need is for a Electrical Engineer to come and run a site day to day, and continue to provide an efficient service of maintenance across electrical and building services.

As a Sole Site Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out all PPM reactive maintenance, supervise contractors and deal with the client directly.

Working hours will be Monday-Friday 8-5 with overtime and attend shutdowns when required.

Day to Day Duties

• PPM, reactive maintenance
• Working on Electrical, Mechanical and general building services
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner
• Be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client
• Remain flexible with regards to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
• Be fully aware of relevant Health & Safety and general legislative matters

All plant will be monitored on a planned maintenance basis regularly as well as dealing with all reactive repairs that arise on a daily basis. All applicants must come form a strong maintenance background and have the ability to deal with a fast paced commercial environment.

Skills Required

• With at least 5 years experience in building services
• Core qualifications are key in this role the minimum requirement is Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
