Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join the KME team in the Cambridgeshire area. The role focuses on delivering safe, compliant electrical works, leading design reviews, change control, and team leadership on complex projects.

Candidates should hold relevant accreditations (CSCS and SMSTS), have strong communication skills and budget management experience, and be able to work collaboratively across diverse teams within the Kier group.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical services and safety.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules with clear criteria.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all works are planned and carried out safely to Kier standards and UK law
• Reviewing designs with design teams and clients to optimise construction
• Managing change control processes and implementing quality control procedures
• Providing leadership to project team members and setting clear expectations
• Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation within your control
