Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join its Places Design Practice in the UK. You will lead electrical design on large projects, collaborating with other disciplines to ensure integrated solutions and presenting complex concepts to clients.

As a Principal Engineer, you will manage project teams up to 10 people, mentor junior engineers, and oversee performance and issue resolution with subcontractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng).
• Previous experience in a consultancy environment.
• Ability to support and lead junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on larger projects and integrate with other design disciplines.
• Present complex technical solutions to clients.
• Manage project teams up to 10 people and oversee delivery, providing technical guidance.

Education

BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering or similar
