Job summary

Arcadis UK is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer with consultancy experience to lead electrical design on large projects within our Places Design Practice. You will deliver elegant, efficient electrical solutions and present complex technical concepts to clients, shaping sustainable places where people live, work and learn.

You will manage project teams of up to 10, mentor junior engineers, coordinate with other design disciplines, and ensure integrated solutions meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• A BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng).
• Previous experience in a consultancy environment.
• Ability to support and lead junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on larger projects and collaborate with other design disciplines.
• Present complex technical solutions to clients.
• Manage project teams with up to 10 people and guide delivery.
• Oversee relationships with sub-contractors and ensure timely issue resolution.
