Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA). You will be embedded in the SPA delivery team, responsible for electrical design outputs and the handover to construction.

The role requires delivering robust, innovative designs for potable water pumping stations and reservoirs, with strong collaboration across design, production and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in outline and detailed design of water industry applications.
• Experience in Design and Build projects.
• Experience in witness testing.
• Experience in selection and design of Instrumentation, control systems and automation equipment in a process environment.
• Knowledge of BS7671 latest edition.

Responsibilities

• Producing and checking of single line diagrams, DNO supply applications to completion, generator system specifications, MCC specifications, Electrical Installation Specifications, System Architecture Diagrams, package plant specifications, WIMES datasheets, reviewing supplier designs, Factory Acceptance Tests, Water Quality Instrumentation, and telemetry systems.
