Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Bristol is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the delivery and design of electrical power systems for naval and commercial marine customers. You will work with NautIQ Solutions UK and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design Low Voltage Power Distribution Systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with UK standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical field with experience in electrical design techniques.
• Knowledge of AC and DC power distribution systems and their components.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work abilities under safety and regulatory constraints.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and verify Power Distribution Systems and Equipment to meet specs.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary engineers to ensure holistic design process.
• Present technical information and design specifications during design reviews.
• Support manufacture and testing of electrical products through to delivery.
• Represent to customers, suppliers, and operators; travel to sites as needed.
• Authoring technical documentation, reports, schedules, schematics etc.
