Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Bristol. You will design, develop and verify Power Distribution Systems and Equipment to meet demanding specifications, liaising with multidisciplinary engineers to ensure a holistic design process.

You will also author technical documentation and support manufacture and testing through to delivery, with occasional travel to RR, customer and supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical design experience in Power Distribution Systems.
• Experience with 440 V marine/naval systems and Class Society rules.
• Knowledge of AC/DC distribution and safety/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and verify Power Distribution Systems and Equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers for holistic design.
• Present technical information in design reviews.
• Support manufacture and testing through to delivery.
• Travel to RR, customer and supplier sites as needed.
• Author technical docs, reports, schedules and schematics.
