Major Energy Onshore is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding team near Blaydon. You will design and estimate industrial control panels from client docs and site visits, and produce electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.

You will generate Bills of Materials, support manufacturing, and assist with Factory Acceptance Tests. The role requires good PLC knowledge, strong IT skills, and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver cost-efficient designs.

Formación

• Educated to HNC level or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related subject.
• Experience in the design and manufacture of industrial control panels.
• Good knowledge of PLCs.
• Proficient in producing electrical schematic diagrams, preferably using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Specify and estimate control panels from customer documentation and site visits.
• Generate electrical schematic diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Generate Bills of Materials and other documentation.
• Assist with manufacturing issues and compliance to relevant standards.
• Assist with Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Generate Operation and Maintenance files for completed projects.
