Job summary

Automation Experts in Kent is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to own the design lifecycle, producing schematics, layouts and wiring diagrams for control panels from small panels to MCCs. You will work with workshop and clients to ensure accurate documentation and successful commissioning at sites.

The role requires experience in electrical design for industrial automation, proficiency with SEE Electrical (training provided) and familiarity with IEC/UL/BS EN standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for control panels in an industrial automation environment.
• Proficient with electrical CAD software (SEE Electrical; training provided).
• Familiar with IEC, UL or BS EN standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for control panels from small panels to MCCs.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation.
• Support workshop, panel build teams during assembly and commissioning.
