BUUK Infrastructure is seeking a Design Engineer - Electric to provide electrical design and technical support for new connections and Low Carbon Technology assessments. You will perform demand calculations, POC design, and network modelling to support DNO and ICP relationships.

Role requires an engineering degree, professional recognition (IET), and experience with electrical networks. Hybrid working is available for eligible roles, with opportunities for development and pension benefits.

Competenze

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• IET membership or equivalent professional recognition preferred.
• CSCS card and awareness of health and safety practices beneficial.

Mansioni

• Perform network demand calculations and design Points of Connection (POCs).
• Model export calculations for embedded generation on existing networks.
• Model reinforcement designs and incorporate emerging tech where needed.
• Liaise with DNOs, ICPs, and other departments on design aspects.
• Develop processes to communicate technical/maintenance requirements internally.
