Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) in Dudley on a hybrid basis. You will become the technical authority on complex MEP electrical design projects and lead design work across the team.

The role offers a clear leadership pathway, mentoring, chartership support and a CPD programme, with a salary between £50,000 and £70,000 plus a 5–10% KPI bonus and generous holidays.

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer from a building services background, looking to step into a high–level role where you will be the technical authority on complex MEP design projects?

This company are a well–established consultancy supporting organisations with energy, compliance, and sustainability challenges. They work with a wide range of clients to help improve efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver practical solutions across complex building and energy projects.

In this role you will lead electrical design work, check drawings and calculations, run project meetings, manage team workloads, support colleagues, and build strong client relationships. You will be the main technical point of contact for electrical design while helping the wider project team deliver high–quality work.

The Role

• Electrical Design Engineer within a multidisciplinary MEP consultancy.
• Lead electrical building services design.
• Review calculations and drawings, run project meetings, and support team workloads.
• Hybrid role based in Dudley, with 2 days per week in the office.

The Person

• Experienced Electrical Building Services Deign Engineer.
• Strong MEP design experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Looking to act as a technical authority and progress into a leadership role
• Leadership experience and membership of a professional body such as IET or CIBSE would be advantageous
