Job description

Role- Electrical Design Engineer
Salary- £42,000- £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent (Hybrid working available)
Location- Near Rainhill

My client design and manufacture a range of products and they are looking to take on an Electrical Design Engineer / Control Engineer to develop as part of their team, on a permanent basis near Liverpool.

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

- Degree qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
- Previous industry experience working in similar Electrical Design roles within manufacturing
- Be proficient with using ideally Eplan (although other CAD software will be considered)
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- And knowledge of pneumatics would be desirable
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:

- Working within the existing engineering team
- Designing, developing and testing electrical systems – wiring diagrams, layouts and electrical schematics
- Working with Eplan 8
- Working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Providing technical support to other colleagues when needed
