Equans is looking for an Electrical Craftsperson to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.

What will you deliver?
- Work primarily at the Mental Health Sites of Barberry, Oleaster & Zinnia, with potential extension to other areas as requested by Senior Management.
- Undertake reasonable duties directed by TSM/Supervisor/Helpdesk to maintain all services to the NHS Trust, ensuring all associated paperwork is completed satisfactorily, accurately and promptly.
- Carry out all works in compliance with EQUANS KPIs and contract.
- Enter departments containing service users undergoing various treatments/procedures, reporting to departmental staff.
- Cover general installations/repairs to sockets, switches, lamps.
- Retro‑fit components, rewiring assets, emergency lighting PPMs, fuse board checks, PAT testing, RCD testing.
- Provide support by manual labour for relocations and moves, tidying and cleaning Estates areas and plant rooms.
- Drive the company vehicle as required and take part in the on‑call rota.

Who are you?
- Approved apprenticeship with either:
- Base electrical qualifications C&G Part A & B
- City & Guild 236 Part 1 & 2
- City & Guilds 2330 / 2365 levels 2 & 3 Diploma
- EAL Electrical installation QCF Diploma levels 1, 2 & 3 (601/0409/0 & 600/6724/X & 600/9331/6)
- EAL Level 3 Electrotechnical NVQ or C & G 2357 level 3 NVQ
- AM218th Edition of the Wiring Regulations C& G 2382-18
- Driving licence.
- UK DBS Standard check clearance.
