Equans is seeking a Shift Electrical Craftsperson to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, on a permanent, full-time basis. The role operates a 39.375-hour week on a shift rota (two days 7am–7pm, two nights 7pm–7am, four days off).
You will undertake maintenance and repairs of all electrical services, interpret drawings, and work to KPI targets. A valid electrical installation qualification, DBS check, and a full UK driving licence are required.

The responsibilities will be at the Acute PFI Hospital
Undertake any reasonable duties to maintain all services to the NHS Trust
Carry out all works in compliance with EQUANS’s KPI’s and contract
Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision
Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment and machinery, without supervision, as appropriate to his/her grade
After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces
Carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor
