A leading facilities management company is seeking a Shift Electrical Craftsperson to join their team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. The role involves carrying out maintenance and repairs, and working on a shift rota. Ideal candidates will have relevant electrical qualifications and the ability to work unsupervised. Equans is looking for a Shift Electrical Craftsperson to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time role working
39.375 hours per week.

This is based on a shift rota working 2 days on (7am-7pm) then 2 nights on (7pm-7am) then 4 days off.

What will you deliver?The responsibilities will be at the Acute PFI HospitalUndertake any reasonable duties to maintain all services to the NHS TrustCarry out all works in compliance with EQUANS’s KPI’s and contractInterpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervisionSet up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment and machinery, without supervision, as appropriate to his/her gradeAfter appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spacesCarry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor
