The projects range in size from 40kW to 10MW. The company is looking for an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical & control activities from design through installation & commissioning. This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer seeking to grow their career in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design activities, ensuring compliance with DNO standards.
• Develop control strategies (Modbus, SCADA) for efficient energy management.
• Create wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, perform cable sizing calculations, and write & implement control specifications.
• Oversee electrical installation processes and collaborate with the construction team on electrical issues.
• Lead commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring optimal operation.
• Conduct validation & testing of control systems.

Requirements

• Experienced electrical engineer with strong knowledge of power systems, including Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV).
• Experience in renewable energy projects, especially heat pumps & solar PV.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
