Job summary

OCS Group is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join our team in the UK. The role covers general maintenance, statutory compliance checks, and requires basic plumbing, electrical, and fabric maintenance skills within a facilities management environment.

You will plan and perform preventive and reactive maintenance across office, commercial, distribution, and industrial premises, with on-call weekend flexibility. Emphasis on health & safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic plumbing, electrical and fabric maintenance and statutory ppm inspections.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and risk assessments.
• Ability to work in facilities management environments and meet spec requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a timely fashion.
• Carry out reactive and planned services in offices, commercial, distribution and industrial premises.
• Provide guidance to the client and contract support; support engineer sub-contractors on site.
• Carry out minor building fabric repairs; ensure work complies with specifications and health & safety.
• Keep site documentation up to date and accurate.
