Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking an Electrician (Bioresources) in Milton Keynes. You will perform general repairs, investigate faults, and complete scheduled and reactive maintenance to uphold asset reliability and protect the environment for customers.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent), 18th Edition, relevant apprenticeship, and a full UK driving licence. Industrial/Commercial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• An NVQ level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition electrical City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent.
• Ideally Industrial/Commercial experience.
• Completed a relevant apprenticeship.
• A full UK driving licence is also essential.
• Experience in inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, repairs to pumps, valves, VSD and switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and rectification of faults.
• Complete scheduled and reactive maintenance to ensure asset reliability.

Circa £57,000 (£49,780 starting salary + 15% Shift Allowance) + Overtime Opportunities for pay progression with training up to £65,619 Basic On‑site vehicle, tools and PPE equipment Permanent, 40.25 hours p/w - Shift Based Location: Milton Keynes

You’ll be responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled & reactive maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job, it’s about protecting our environment and our customers.

What does it take to be a Bioresources Electrician?

• An NVQ level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent)

• You will have demonstrable experience in completing inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, competent to undertake repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3-phase electrical switchgear.
